CUSTOMER ADVISORY

Trenton Regional/Vehicle Center Closed Until Friday, November 20

TRENTON – Effectively immediately, the Trenton Regional/Vehicle Center is closed due to an employee testing positive for COVID-19, the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission has announced. The Trenton Regional/Vehicle Center will reopen Friday, November 20.

The employee who tested positive was last in the Trenton Center on Thursday, November 5.

Other MVC Centers in West Deptford, Oakland, Paterson, and Runnemede remain closed due to an employee testing positive for COVID-19 at each location.

The West Deptford Regional/Licensing Center will reopen Thursday, November 12; the Oakland Licensing Center will reopen Friday, November 13; the Paterson Regional/Licensing Center will reopen Saturday, November 14; and the Runnemede Vehicle Center will reopen Thursday, November 19.

Upon closure due to an employee testing positive for COVID-19, MVC Centers are cleaned and remain closed until contact tracers have cleared enough employees to reopen or any required quarantine is complete.

Customers should visit NJMVC.gov before heading out to an MVC facility to find quick links for up-to-date information and the latest on any agency closures. Customers also are encouraged to complete all available transactions at the MVC website and schedule appointments for a growing list of transactions that include a range of license renewals, registration/title services, and more.
