Owen Selles is a GIS Specialist with the Highlands Water Protection and Planning Council.

Owen has a diverse professional background that includes social science research, data analysis, research software development, and undergraduate teaching. Prior to joining the Highlands Council, he was conducting research on United States Forest Service Policy in the western United States for an interdisciplinary Joint Fire Science Program grant and teaching undergraduate discussion sections on environmental humanities in Madison, Wisconsin.

Owen has a B.A. in geography from Calvin College and a M.S. degree of forestry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
