DETAILS

  • Emergency Declaration FEMA#3169-EM-NJ-PR-002, dated September 19, provides Public Assistance Funds to all 21 counties in the State, plus State agencies and certain non-profit organizations, for costs incurred while providing emergency protective measures following the WTC attack.
  • The federal government will pay 100% of all overtime, non-scheduled hours incurred by first-response emergency workers and equipment-related expenses.
  • Counties will serve as "applicants", and they will consolidate the documentation from those municipalities that provided suppport to WTC response.

U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) "Economic Injury Disaster Loans" may be available to small businesses in the following counties: Bergen, Burlington, Essex, Hudson, Mercer, Middlesex, Monmouth, Morris, Ocean, Passaic, Sussex, and Union.
