Proposal Summary: The proposal amends N.J.A.C. 13:82-3.8, Boating Regulations at Lake Mohawk, Sussex County. It was published today in The New Jersey Register, 33 N.J.R. 2803(a).

Under subsections (g) and (e) of the existing Boating Regulation, no power vessel may exceed five miles per hour within 200 feet of the shore or any and all structures, and may not operate within 200 feet of any other craft when towing ski or aquaplane riders, on Lake Mohawk. The proposed amendment grants the Boat Regulation Commission the right to issue a waiver of the aforementioned sections of the regulation in the case of water ski practices, shows and exhibitions.
