Letter from the Director


The Office of Employee and Organization Development is committed to the prevention and intervention of suicide by raising awareness, offering education, providing help, and giving support. The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention has generously provided us with two brochures, "Talk Saves Lives [pdf]" and "Firearms and Suicide Prevention [pdf]", to help employees understand the risk factors, recognize the warning signs, reduce access to means of self-harm, and take action to help others. Everybody has a role to play in preventing suicide. Together we can save lives.
