If all State offices are closed due to weather, your hearing is cancelled regardless of location.

If the Governor has not closed all State offices, you should determine:

• the county in which your hearing is scheduled to be held; and
• whether the county court for that county has been closed. If the county courthouse is closed, your hearing will be cancelled. You can check for county courthouse closing on: https://njcourts.gov/courts/closings
  

  For example:
  
  if your hearing is scheduled in Atlantic City and the Atlantic County courthouse is closed, the hearings at the Atlantic City OAL are adjourned.
  
  if your hearing is scheduled in Newark and the Essex courthouse is closed, the hearings at the Newark OAL are adjourned.
  
  if your hearing is scheduled in Trenton (Mercerville) and the Mercer county courthouse is closed, the hearings at the Trenton OAL are adjourned.
  
  If a case is scheduled for a field hearing, please check the local county courthouse.
