Weinstein confirmed as Transportation Commissioner

"I’m grateful to Governor Whitman for giving me the opportunity to serve the citizens of our state as Transportation Commissioner and Board Chairman of NJ TRANSIT," Weinstein said. "Because transportation touches the life of almost every person in New Jersey, keeping our state on the cutting edge of transportation is critically important as we enter the new millennium and the many challenges that lie ahead. Clearly, the Transportation Trust Fund is the lifeblood of our transportation system and renewal of the Fund will be my top priority."
