Department of Transportation proposing
repeal and new rules on Utility Accommodation
(Trenton) - The New Jersey Department of Transportation is proposing notice of repeal and new rules at N.J.A.C. 16:25, Utility Accommodation. These rules govern utilities, including pipelines, overhead power and communications lines, and underground electric power and communications lines. The chapter contains standards and requirements for utility accommodation on Department right-of-way.
The notice appears in the August 3, 2015 issue of the New Jersey Register. The public has until October 2, 2015 to comment on the proposal. Persons wishing to comment on the proposal must provide their comments in writing and may do so using any one of a variety of delivery options, including an online comment form. Send comments to:
