Local Aid Infrastructure Fund (LAIF)

Beginning June 1, 2015 all applications for the LAIF program will only be accepted through the System for Administering Grants Electronically (SAGE). Paper applications will no longer be accepted for this program.

Subject to funding appropriation, a Local Aid Infrastructure Fund is established to address emergencies and regional needs throughout the State. Any county or municipality may apply at any time.

These projects are approved at the discretion of the Commissioner. Payment of project costs is the same as the Municipal Aid Program. Under this program a county or municipality may also apply for funding for pedestrian safety and bikeway projects.
You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view the PDF files which is available at our state Adobe Acrobat Access page.
