Transit Village Progress Report

In 2014, the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) engaged consultant assistance to produce a Transit Village Progress Report. The report highlights the accomplishments of existing designated Transit Villages in their endeavors to attract new development and redevelopment in areas around transit facilities, to create walkable, transit-friendly environments through sidewalks, crosswalks, bike racks and streetscape features, and to enhance the experience of transit users and visitors to the Transit Village District. The report concludes with a list of issues and opportunities for potential improvements to the program.
