Workshops and Training
Workshops led
by National and State experts are continuing
for in-house Management, Engineers
and Planners on Complete Streets. The
New Jersey Department of Transportation's
(NJDOT) Office of Bicycle and Pedestrian
Planning is also using the New
Jersey Bicycle and Pedestrian Resource
Center to promote the passage of Complete
Streets policies and provide technical
assistance to municipalities and counties
regarding Complete Streets issues.
A curriculum
and video has been developed for Regional
Workshops on Complete Streets Policy
Development, Design and Implementation.
NJDOT has also developed a Guidebook
for municipalities and counties on
model policy and ordinances, design,
liability and maintenance. The New
Jersey Bicycle and Pedestrian Resource
Center will include these items, Complete
Streets presentations and a listing
of all policies throughout the state.
