Route US 46 Park and Ride (Parsippany-Troy HillsTwp)
Certain parts of the NJ Transit facility known as the Route US 46 Park and Ride, located in the Township of Parsippany-Troy Hills in Morris County, are under New Jersey Department of Transportation jurisdiction.  Traffic within the transit center is hereby controlled by the following regulations:
(a) All vehicles must park in designated areas and between the lines provided within the park and ride.
(b) The certain parts of the park and ride described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as “no stopping or standing” zones, where stopping or standing is prohibited at all times:
(1) No stopping or standing along both sides:
(A) Along all roadways and aisles as indicated on the site plan.
(c) The certain parts of the park and ride described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as “handicapped parking” areas for the use of persons who have been issued special vehicle identification cards by the Motor Vehicle Commission in accordance with the provisions of NJSA 39:4-197.5:
(1) Handicapped Parking:
(A) Within the designated parking areas as indicated on the site plan, during all hours.
(d) The certain parts of the park and ride described in this subsection are hereby designated as stop intersections:
(1) Stop signs shall be installed:
(A) At the intersection of Entrance “A” and Road “B” for traffic traveling along Entrance “A”.
(e) The certain parts of the park and ride described in this subsection are hereby designated for one way traffic:
(1) One-way streets in the eastbound direction:
(A) Along Road “A” for its entire length.
(2) One-way streets in the southbound direction:
(A) Along Entrance “A” for its entire length.
(B) Along Entrance “B” for its entire length.
(C) Along Exit “A” for its entire length.
(f) The rate of speed designated for the certain parts of the park and ride described in this subsection are hereby established and adopted as the maximum legal rate of speed:
(1) For both directions of traffic:
(A) Zone 1: 10 MPH along all roadways and aisles within the entire complex.
(g) The certain parts of the park and ride described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as loading zones, where parking is prohibited at all times except for the loading or unloading of passengers:
(1) Loading zones along the south side:
(A) Along Road “A” as indicated on the site plan.
(h) The certain parts of the park and ride described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as “tow-away zones”, where any vehicle parked or standing may be removed by towing the vehicle at the owners or operators expense:
(1) Tow-Away Zones:
(A) Any vehicles parked or standing as to obstruct or impede a normal flow of traffic, block entrances or exit ways, loading zones, oil fills, any grassy area, pedestrian walkway, or present in any way a safety or traffic hazard.
