Various Regulations for Local Roads under State Jurisdiction

Franklin Turnpike (vicinity of Route NJ 17)
Certain parts of the roadway known as the Franklin Turnpike (County Route 507) (vicinity of Route NJ 17), located in the Borough of Ramsey in Bergen County, are under New Jersey Department of Transportation jurisdiction.  Traffic on these sections of the roadway is hereby controlled by the following regulations:
(a) The rate of speed designated for the certain parts of the Franklin Turnpike described in this subsection are hereby established and adopted as the maximum legal rate of speed:
(1) For both directions of traffic:
(A) Zone 1: 40 MPH between the southernmost Bergen County – New Jersey Department of Transportation jurisdictional line and the northernmost Bergen County – New Jersey Department of Transportation jurisdictional line (interchange with Route NJ 17).
