Speed Limits for State Roads

(a)	The rate of speed designated for the certain parts of State Highway Route NJ 109 described in this subsection are hereby established and adopted as the maximum legal rate of speed:
1.	In Cape May County:
	NOTE: State Highway Route NJ 109 is under county (Cape May County) jurisdiction from approximate mileposts 0.00 to 1.34.
	i. In the Township of Lower:
(1)	For both directions of traffic:
	(A) Zone 1: 30 MPH between the New Jersey Department of Transportation – Cape May County jurisdictional line (Cape Island Creek Bridge) and Third Avenue (northernmost intersection) (approximate mileposts 1.34 to 1.54); thence
	(B) Zone 2: 45 MPH between Third Avenue (northernmost intersection) and Route US 9 (approximate mileposts 1.54 to 3.06).
