Speed Limits For State Roads

Route I - 278
(a) The rate of speed designated for the certain parts of State Highway Route I-278 described in this subsection are hereby established and adopted as the maximum legal rate of speed:
1. In Union County:
i. In the City of Linden:
(1) For both directions of traffic:
(A) 50 MPH between Route US 1&9 and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey-New Jersey Department of Transportation jurisdictional line (approximate mileposts 0.0 and 0.9).
