Various Regulations for Local Roads under State Jurisdiction

South Summit Avenue (CR 57) (vicinity of Routes I-80 and NJ 17)
Certain parts of the roadway known as South Summit Avenue (County Route 57) (vicinity of Routes I-80 and NJ 17), located in the City of Hackensack in Bergen County, are under New Jersey Department of Transportation jurisdiction.  Traffic on these sections of the roadway is hereby controlled by the following regulations:
(a) The rate of speed designated for the certain parts of South Summit Avenue (CR 57) described in this subsection are hereby established and adopted as the maximum legal rate of speed:
(1) For both directions of traffic:
(A) Zone 1: 40 MPH between the southerly curb line of the exit ramp from Route NJ 17 southbound to Summit Avenue southbound and a point 1,700 feet north to the entrance ramp to Route NJ 17 northbound.
