Tax Practitioners

New Jersey is committed to protecting the privacy of your tax information. Because traditional email is not secure, the Division of Taxation will not address specific tax account concerns. This means that we cannot give you any information about the status of your income tax refund, Homestead Benefit or Property Tax Reimbursement.

Do not include confidential information in email you send to us. Examples of confidential information are Social Security or Federal Tax Identification numbers, liability or payment amounts, dates of birth or bank account numbers and should not be included in your email. If you need to discuss confidential questions, including specific account information or changes to your account, contact us by phone or visit one of our Regional Information Centers.
