2019 ANCHOR Benefit Payments

We are currently issuing 2019 ANCHOR benefits and will continue to distribute payments through the month of May. ANCHOR benefits will be paid in the form of a direct deposit or check, not as credits to property tax bills.

2022 Income Tax Refunds

We are currently issuing Income Tax refunds for the 2022 tax season.

How do you know a payment you received is your refund?

Paper checks are issued from the “Property Tax Relief Fund” and direct deposits are made as “ State of N.J. NJSTTAXRFD.”

IRS Federal Tax Status

The Internal Revenue Service provides details clarifying the federal tax status involving special payments.
