Soil Erosion and Sediment Control – Soil Restoration Amendments

Take notice that the New Jersey Department of Agriculture (NJDA), State Soil Conservation Committee (SSCC) is proposing the adoption of amendments to N.J.A.C. 2:90-1.3, 1.4 and 1.14, Soil Erosion and Sediment Control pursuant to the Soil Erosion and Sediment Control Act, N.J.S.A. 4:24-39 et seq. (P.L. 1975 Ch. 251).
The proposal establishes amendments to the Topsoiling and Land Grading Standards to provide for cost-effective restoration, for specific soil types and intended land use, of the optimal physical, chemical and biological functions of the soil on land disturbance activities subject to the Soil Erosion and Sediment Control Act.
