The New Jersey Department of Community Affairs’ Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) intends to open a Competitive Request for Proposal (RFP) to select community-based agencies and outreach agencies for the FY 2025 heating season.

The Request for Proposal (RFP), which will be posted on the DCA SAGE portal https://dcasage.intelligrants.com/Portal.asp, will be open to units of local government and nonprofit entities with an IRS 501(c)(3) designation, registered to operate in New Jersey.

Any organization that is interested in submitting a response to the RFP should contact Fidel Ekhelar, Program Manager, Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) before the close of business on Friday, April 19, 2024, by sending an email to fidel.ekhelar@dca.nj.gov, providing contact information for the organization’s main contact person, and proof of IRS 501(c)(3) designation.

Please be advised that all interested organizations MUST attend a mandatory Technical Assistance Session which will be scheduled later this month.
