      • WIC is a preventive public health nutrition program that provides nutrition and breastfeeding education, nutritious foods, and improved access to regular health care and social services to low and moderate-income pregnant, postpartum and breastfeeding women and young children with, or at risk of developing nutrition-related health problems.

      • NJ SNAP-Ed offers information on healthy eating and active lifestyle choices.

Housing & Energy Resources

    • Energy Assistance Programs
      • The New Jersey Department of Community Affairs offers access to several energy assistance programs such as the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance (LIHEAP) and the Universal Service Fund (USF) programs.
    • Housing Assistance Programs
      • The New Jersey Department of Community Affairs offers access to several housing assistance programs such as the State Rental Assistance Program and Housing Choice Voucher.
    • New Jersey Lifeline
      • The Lifeline utility assistance program offers an annual utility benefit and is administered by the New Jersey Division of Aging Services.
    • SNAP Utility Program
      • NJ SNAP Utility Program (NJ SNAP-UP) is an energy assistance program to help offset the cost of energy for certain NJ SNAP households.  The SNAP-UP is not something you have to apply for; if you are eligible, you will automatically receive a $21 payment on your Families First card to be used to help you pay for your energy expenses.

    • Pharmaceutical Assistance to the Aged & Disabled (PAAD),
      • The Pharmaceutical Assistance to the Aged and Disabled (PAAD) program is a state-funded program that helps eligible seniors and individuals with disabilities save money on their prescription drug costs.

      • Work First New Jersey (WFNJ)
        • WFNJ provides temporary cash assistance, and many other support services, to families through the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) as well as to individuals and couples without children through our General Assistance (GA) program.
