GENERAL DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
See NJ Civil Service Commission job specification for Police Officer, title code 02728.
Must possess a New Jersey Driver’s License.
Must possess a Police Training Commission (PTC) Certification.
Must be or have been employed as a full-time Police Officer with an agency governed by NJ Civil Service rules. See N.J.A.C 4A:4-7.1A.
Must be able to pass a detailed background check, physical exam & psychological exam.
Applicant must waive internal investigation file, sick time records, and submit to a comprehensive full investigation.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or equivalent
LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS:
NJ PTC Class "A" Certification
