DCF is encouraging all providers to apply for this grant. If you can propose concrete partnership ideas for a Letter of Intent from DCF to your agency on or before March 1, 2017 (the deadline for this grant is on March 9, 2017).
Due March 9, 2017- your requests must reach DCF on or before March 1, 2017.
The Department of Children and Families is seeking to collaborate with our provider community for an important grant opportunity.
The goal of the Disability Grant Program under the Office of Violence Against Women at the Department of Justice is to improve responses to disabled and Deaf survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking and hold perpetrators accountable. Funding will be used to build a multidisciplinary team that will identify needs and barriers, and increase capacity for victim service providers.
As such, the grant opportunity requires an application from a multidisciplinary team of at least one victim service provider and one organization focusing on the disabled and/or Deaf population to carry out the work. It is our vision to pool together our collaborative strengths to increase capacity in various ways through training and technical assistance for providers serving this vulnerable population.
If you can propose concrete partnership ideas and can assist in the development of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) before the deadline of the grant on January 26, 2017, please forward your information to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Due January 11, 2017
