During this national emergency, the New Jersey Governor’s Office of Volunteerism and its partner organizations understand that those who are not suffering from the virus may want to help. However, all volunteer activities should adhere to critical health and safety protocols in order to protect volunteers, protect residents, protect clients and protect service agencies.

AmeriCorps Recovery Corps in Camden

The program serves those in recovery from opioid and other additions. These AmeriCorps members made and donated blankets for the Mother and Child homeless shelter.

Jewish Renaissance Foundation of Perth Amboy

 

Please enjoy photos from our AmeriCorps MLK day of service, January 20. The event created care packages containing baby items to be readily available to offer women in both transitional housing and those fleeing domestic violence situations and living in DV shelters.
