Mid-Block Crosswalks


Route US 9

(a)

The certain parts of State Highway Route US 9 described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as mid-block crosswalks:

1.

In Cape May County:

i. In the Township of Middle:

(1)

Mid-block crosswalks:

(A) Beginning at a point 275 feet north of the prolongation of the northerly curb line of Schoolhouse Lane and extending 10 feet northerly therefrom (approximate milepost 12.39).

(B) Beginning at a point 270 feet south of the prolongation of the southerly curb line of Church Street and extending 10 feet southerly therefrom (approximate milepost 12.69).

In Atlantic County:

i. In the City of Linwood:

(1)

Mid-block crosswalks:

(A) Beginning at a point 1,228 feet south of the center line of Monroe Avenue and extending 10 feet southerly therefrom (approximate milepost 35.78).

ii. In the City of Pleasantville:

(1)

Mid-block crosswalks:

(A) Beginning at a point 535 feet south of the southerly curb line of Washington Avenue and extending 10 feet southerly therefrom (approximate milepost 40.04).

iii. In the Township of Galloway:

(1)

Mid-block crosswalks:

(A) Beginning at a point 130 feet north of the northerly curb line of Bartlett Avenue and extending 10 feet northerly therefrom (approximate milepost 45.25).

(B) Beginning at a point 220 feet north of the northerly curb line of Bartlett Avenue and extending 8 feet northerly therefrom (approximate milepost 45.27).

In Ocean County:

i.  In the Township of Eagleswood:

(1)

Mid-block crosswalks:

(B) Beginning at a point 150 feet south of the southerly curb line of Division Street and extending 8 feet southerly therefrom (approximate milepost 65.61).

ii. In the Township of Barnegat:

(1)

Mid-block crosswalks:

(A) Beginning at a point 570 feet south of the southerly curb line of Water Street and extending 8 feet southerly therefrom (approximate milepost 75.26).

(b)

The certain parts of State Highway Route US 9 described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as an older or walking impaired persons crosswalks:

1.

In Monmouth County:

i. In the Township of Howell:

(1)

Older and Impaired Persons Crosswalks:

(A) Along Route US 9 (northbound) at Wyckoff Mills Road and Strickland Road (approximate milepost 110.27).
