Restricted Parking and Stopping


Route NJ 44

(a)

The certain parts of State Highway Route NJ 44 described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as “no stopping or standing” zones, where stopping or standing is prohibited at all times:

1.

In Gloucester County:

Note: State Highway Route NJ 44 is under the jurisdiction of the County of Gloucester from approximate mileposts 9.37 to 10.28.

i. In the Township of Logan:

(1)

No stopping or standing along both sides:

(A) For the entire length within the corporate limits, including all ramps and connections thereto, which are under the jurisdiction of the Commissioner of Transportation; except in areas covered by other approved parking restrictions (approximate mileposts 0.0 to 2.14).

ii. In the Township of Greenwich:

(1)

No stopping or standing along both sides:

(A) For the entire length within the corporate limits, including all ramps and connections thereto, which are under the jurisdiction of the Commissioner of Transportation; except in areas covered by other approved parking restrictions.

iii. In the Borough of Paulsboro:

iv. In the Township of West Deptford:

(1)

No stopping or standing along both sides:

(A) Between the center line of Woodbury Terrace and a point 100 feet south of the southerly curb line of Delaware Avenue.

(b)

The certain parts of State Highway Route NJ 44 described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as “no parking bus stop” zones, where the parking of any vehicle other than omnibuses, picking up or discharging passengers, is prohibited at all times:

1.

Gloucester County:

i. In the Township of Greenwich:

(1)

Near side bus stops along the northbound (easterly) side:

(A) Between the southerly curb line of Casperson Street and a point 120 feet southerly therefrom.

(B) Between the southerly curb line of Home Avenue and a point 120 feet southerly therefrom.

(C) Between the southerly curb line of Market Street and a point 120 feet southerly therefrom.

(D) Between the southerly curb line of Swedesboro Road and a point 120 feet southerly therefrom.

(E) Between the southerly curb line of Tomlin Road and a point 120 feet southerly therefrom.

(F) Between the southerly curb line of South School Street and a point 120 feet southerly therefrom.

(G) Between the southerly curb line of Walnut Avenue and a point 120 feet southerly therefrom.

(H) Between the southerly curb line of Repauno Avenue and a point 120 feet southerly therefrom.

(I) Between the southerly curb line of Maple Street and a point 120 feet southerly therefrom.

(J) Between the southerly curb line of South Poplar Street and a point 120 feet southerly therefrom.

(K) Between the southerly curb line of Forest Street and a point 120 feet southerly therefrom.

(2)

Far side bus stops along the northbound (easterly) side:

(A) Between the prolongation of the northerly curb line of Newell Street and a point 105 feet northerly therefrom.

(3)

Near side bus stops along the southbound (westerly) side:

(A) Between the northerly curb line of Home Avenue and a point 120 feet northerly therefrom.

(B) Between the northerly curb line of Market Street and a point 120 feet northerly therefrom.

(C) Between the northerly curb line of Pine Street and a point 120 feet northerly therefrom.

Far side bus stops along the southbound (westerly) side:

(A) Between the prolongation of the southerly curb line of Casperson Street and a point 105 feet southerly therefrom.

ii. In the Borough of Paulsboro:

(1)

Far side bus stops along the northbound (easterly) side:

(A) Between the northerly curb line of Delaware Street and a point 90 feet northerly therefrom.

(2)

Near side bus stops along the southbound (easterly) side:

(A) Between at the northerly curb line of Delaware Street and a point 100 feet northerly therefrom.

(3)

Mid-Block bus stops along the southbound (easterly) side:

(A) Between a point 50 feet west of the prolongation of the southerly curb line of Cedar Avenue and a point 110 feet southerly therefrom.

iii. In the Township of West Deptford:

(1)

Near side bus stops along the northbound (easterly) side:

(A) Between the southerly curb line of Mantua Grove Road (County Route 656) and a point 105 feet southerly therefrom.

(B) Between the southerly curb line of Robin Drive and a point 105 feet southerly therefrom.

(C) Between the southerly curb line of Cento Boulevard and a point 105 feet southerly therefrom.

(D) Between the southerly curb line of Cumberland Avenue and a point 105 feet southerly therefrom.

(2)

Far side bus stops along the northbound (easterly) side:

(A) Between the northerly curb line of Mid Atlantic Parkway and a point 135 feet northerly therefrom.

(B) Between the northerly curb line of Church Street and a point 100 feet northerly therefrom.

(C) Between the northerly curb line prolongation of River Lane and a point 100 feet northerly therefrom.

(3)

Near side bus stops along the southbound (westerly) side:

(A) Between the northerly curb line of Paradise Road and a point 105 feet northerly therefrom.

(B) Between the northerly curb line of Cento Boulevard and a point 105 feet northerly therefrom.

(C) Between the northerly curb line prolongation of Mid Atlantic Parkway and a point 105 feet northerly therefrom.

(D) Between the northerly curb line of River Lane and a point 105 feet northerly therefrom.

(E) Between the northerly curb line of Salem Avenue and a point 105 feet northerly therefrom.

(3)

Far side bus stops along the southbound (westerly) side:

(A) Between the southerly curb line of Jobstown Road and a point 100 feet southerly therefrom.
