POLICY AND IMPLEMENTATION COMMITTEE
The Pinelands Commission’s Policy and Implementation Committee reviews and makes recommendations to the full Commission on major policy issues, issues surrounding implementation of and changes to the Pinelands Comprehensive Management Plan (CMP) as well as new programmatic initiatives or special projects. For example, the committee reviews the following:
- determination of consistency of municipal and county ordinances, master plans and land use proposals with the CMP;
- proposal and adoption of CMP amendments (both those proposed by the Commission and those resulting from external petitions for amendment);
- planning issues (infrastructure, watersheds (water quality/use), map/zoning/density changes);
- oversight of Long Term Economic and Environmental Monitoring Programs, Rural Economic Development Program, Pinelands Excellence Program and Limited Practical Use land acquisition program;
- nomination of historic districts; determination of cultural resources; and
- coordination with the Pinelands Development Credit Bank of the PDC program.

PLAN REVIEW COMMITTEE
The Plan Review Committee will oversee the Commission's fourth in-depth review of the Pinelands Comprehensive Management Plan (CMP), the rules that govern land-use, development and natural resource protection programs in the million-acre Pinelands area of southern New Jersey.
The public's participation and insight will be critical in this project. To that end, a Plan Review Committee composed of five Commission members has been formed. This Committee will meet monthly to guide the development of the Plan Review based on feedback from members of the public and specific focus groups, such as the 53 Pinelands municipalities, seven Pinelands counties and many other parties.
The Committee will meet following each regular meeting of the Pinelands Commission. Please note that regular Commission meetings begin at 9:30 a.m. and are held at the Commission's headquarters on 15-C Springfield Road, New Lisbon, NJ, unless otherwise noted.

PERSONNEL AND BUDGET COMMITTEE
The Personnel and Budget Committee advises the Commission on business and operational matters. The Committee’s responsibilities include the annual budget, other fiduciary policies and practices, human resource and employee compensation matters including the Commission’s personnel policies, information management systems, insurance, contracting, and the physical plant.
