MOONLIGHT WALK - 7:00 p.m., Whitesbog Preservation Trust, 120 W. Whitesbog Road, Browns Mills, NJ. Come explore the village and the bogs by moon light, this special oportunity is scheduled on or as close to the full moon as possibe. An experienced guide will share insights about Whitesbog and the nature that surrounds us with a different topic each month. Meet your guide in the General Store before the start time and look around prior to the start. All walks are 3-5 miles in length. Dress weather appropriate. Reservations are requested by calling and leaving your name, phone number and number of participants at 609-893-4646. The walk is $5 per person. Also held on 6/30, 7/28, and 8/25 at 8:00 p.m.

NATIONAL TRAILS DAY 2018 AT BASS RIVER STATE FOREST - 9:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., meet at the Forst Office (762 Stage Road) by 9:30 a.m. Volunteer assignments include repairs to the BATONA boardwalk, trimming trails and removing trash.  Younger volunteers can help by cleaning the interpretive panels along the forest trails. Bring, loppers, water, sunscreen and insect repellent.  Free hot dogs, drinks and chips will be served at the Forest Office at 1:00 p.m. Bring, loppers, water, sunscreen and insect repellent. The forest has over 12 miles of marked trails. Stop by the Forest Office for a trail map. This is a great project for scouts and students to get community service credit. 35th ANNUAL BLUEBERRY FESTIVAL - 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., Whitesbog Preservation Trust, 120 W. Whitesbog Road, Browns Mills, NJ. Kickoff the Blueberry Harvest Season in the Birthplace of the Blueberry! SO many blueberries: taste the berries from our neighbor's farm and take home a pint or a flat, pick berries fresh on the original heritage plants in the fields, eat them in locally made pies, muffins, cakes, jams, preserves, fried, blueberry drinks, blueberry wine, cider, syrup and so much more. 2nd ANNUAL PINELANDS SUMMER SHORT COURSE - 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., Stockton University, Kramer Hall, 30 Front Street, Hammonton, NJ. Explore the Pinelands with field experts during the peak of the summer, when wildlife abounds.
